GIDA Project

GIDA is an EU-sponsored R&D project between the University of Surrey, JRC, Finsoft and Ibermatica. The aims of the project are:

To explore the link between language and numeric data, computationally;
To develop a method for automatically generating trading signals from financial texts
To build, systematically integrate and use domain ontologies and terminologies for knowledge acquisition and information extraction;
To develop strategies for adapting knowledge systems for different subject domains.
